Shareholder agreements typically deal with three types of rights and obligations - (i) how the company will be run, (ii) how the investment made by the investors will be protected and (iii) under what circumstances the investor may exit. In this video, we take a look at the investment protection rights within a shareholders agreement. Investors may require downside protection in case of loss of share valuations.
