Описание: I’m getting into the grain bowl dishes. What can be better than a power food dish that is made pretty much in one bowl? It’s not only good but it’s also nutritious for you too.
The one thing I love about a grain bowl is because you can really add in anything you like. This is my version of one kind of grain bowl. And I think the dressing you add makes the dish as well. Otherwise I think it’s a little dry.
Good tuna or other protein, colorful greens, vegetables and a good grain make up for a good bowl. Some varieties of what I think are good grains: brown rice, quinoa, barley, bulgur and farro. I use rice and quinoa probably the most, but bulgur is very good too. Also, don’t forget the greens, such as, spinach and kale. And the vegetables are endless. So go for it.
Give a grain bowl a try. It’s easy to make and the only thing that takes the most time is chopping or cutting up the vegetables.

I know I’m going to make this or other grain bowl often.

Note: This was for 2 servings. Adjust the quantity of ingredients if serving for more than 2 individuals

Ingredients:
1 or 2 cans Albacore Tuna, broken up in large chunks
1 – 2 Carrots, grated or peeled into ribbons
½ Yellow Pepper, sliced into thin strips
8 Grape or Cherry Tomatoes cut in half
½ English Cucumber, cut into chunks
2 Radishes, cut in half and thinly sliced
1 Avocado, thinly sliced
2 hard boiled Eggs, sliced in half
12 Snow Peas, cut in half
Handful of Spinach
1 cup or more Brown Rice, cooked, about ½ cup per bowl
Parsley or Cilantro for garnish
Sesame Seeds for garnish

Dressing:
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil, regular or toasted
1 or more Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
2 – 3 cloves Garlic, minced or 1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Ginger powder
¼ - ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Salt and Pepper
Honey, a drizzle or more
Salt if desire (the soy sauce will have salt as well)

Directions:
Prep all of your vegetables, cut, chop and/or mince.
In a small bowl or jar combine all of the dressing ingredients and shake thoroughly until fully combined
Break up the Tuna into large chunks.
In two large individual serving bowls, layer the ingredients for each.
Rice, Spinach, Tuna and then place the other vegetables around the tuna.
*Drizzle the dressing all over the salad. Garnish with Parsley or Cilantro and Sesame seeds.
