Franz Schubert wrote two sets of Impromptus. Op90, with the famous E-flat No2 were published in the composer's lifetime.
Op 142, was published posthumously. It may have been a continuation of Op 90, as Schubert originally labeled them No 5-8. I'm playing the 4th Impromptu, in f minor, the most technically demanding of the 8. Go big or go home!!! There are a lot of hemiola effects, modulations, and fast scales. It reminds me of my bunny when she is in a devious mood!
