Katie and I are in Ottawa, ON at the Rideau Canal Skateway! We wanted to go down and see all the skaters enjoying the frozen over canal and enjoy some Beavertails! Every year since 1970 with the exception of 2023 the Rideau Canal is open to the public for free to go and skate on in the winter! The National Capital Commission (NCC) takes care of the winter operations of the canal and make sure it is safe to use.
