This is a short vegan friendly recipe with specific measurements & easy-to-follow steps to make Tingmo or Tingmomo, which is a steamed Tibetan bun that is shaped in a variety of ways. Similar in taste to the Chinese Mantou or Asian steamed buns. My steamed bun recipe is a super easy & fun way to make pinwheel design with 2 colors.
If you are not interested in making 2-colors, you can make any fluffy steamed Asian bun using the ingredients below.

Ingredients with measurements:
You will make 2 separate dough balls:
Regular Dough:
All purpose flour| 2 Cups
Active Dry Yeast: 1 teaspoon
Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
WARM water: 1/2 cup
Oil for greasing
Colored Dough:
All purpose flour| 2 Cups
Active Dry Yeast: 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon turmeric
Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
WARM water: 1/2 cup
Oil for greasing
