550ml veg oil
2 crushed or halved bulbs of garlic
1 sliced onion
1 sliced carrot
2 chopped sticks of celery

Curry paste
All the curry oil made from above list
300g plain flour

2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp salt

Curry sauce (makes 1 pint or 500ml approx.)
3 heaped tbsp curry paste
300ml water

2/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp MSG

Chips
3 or 4 marris pipers
1 tsp salt
1/3 tsp bicarb
enough water to submerge the chips completely
Veg oil to deep fry in

Fried Rice
400g overnight rice (riced cooked the day before, cooled with in 60 mins and stored in the fridge overnight)
1 egg
