The F411 departs from De Klinge (Sint‑Gillis‑Waas), on the Dutch border with Hulst, and runs to the Sint‑Niklaas station zone. Today I cycled to the Waasland Shopping Center in Sint‑Niklaas.
In just two months, more than 30,000 cyclists have used the route between Sint‑Gillis‑Waas and Hulst, and around 80,000 cyclists have used the F411 towards Sint‑Niklaas. This once again shows how necessary a proper cycle path at the Hulst border really is.
It’s also a fact that groceries are cheaper in Belgium than in the Netherlands for many products. As a result, more and more Dutch people are doing their shopping in Belgium and Germany.
