Leaving Brussels I wind my way to the 1280m long Prinsendreef cobbles in Kortenberg. I can never seem to get a clear go on these, a car always appears & I have to take to the footpath/bike lane.
Before reaching the cobbles I cycle over the lovely, smooth airport bike path. Just after which I negotiate a couple of sheep that have wandered out of their enclosure.
After equaling my PB on the cobbles, although disappointed that I took to the path, I feel like I have cheated, I return towards Brussels.
