Hi there Just one more rockers...how are you?
I got out to Klaskanine River like it was a calling. My soul needed the river and Klaskanine was becoming. I was feeling the musical flow from my car stereo and having fun...even though it's not always easy to appreciate your own reactions when alone. Knowing you all will be watching is like being with friends.
I didn't stay long as it was already evening. I'm one that started backpacking at 8 years old and have spent up to almost 4 weeks in the back country as a youth. That time in the forest trains your sixth sense and at some point I felt like I was being watched so I got out while the getting was good. It was evening in Elk, Bear, and Cougar country so every couple minutes I stood up, waved my grabber, banged on my bucket, and pretended to call for my dog as if he were there. Just making noise. If you're ever hounding in Clatsop and you here weird noises coming from the water then it's either Sasquatch...or Fred, same difference 🤣.
