We drove the Great St. Bernard road tunnel through the alps from Aosta in Italy and stopped over in the beautiful mountain town of Orsières, Valais, Switzerland to take a look at the St. Bernard Express trains.
The regional trains from Orsières only run to La Douay (stop on request) and Sembrancher, from where you can connect to Martigny and Le Châble, with a further cable car connection to the ski resort of Verbier.
