We take a look around the railway station of Lugano in Ticino, Switzerland.
Lugano is served by Intercity trains which will soon arrive through the new Ceneri base tunnel, as well as regional express and TILO trains serving Ticino and Lombardy. There is also a narrow gauge railway Ferrovia Lugano Ponte Tresa or FLP which terminates at Lugano FLP station, which is connected to the main FFS/SBB station via an underpass.
There is also a newly renovated funicular which connects Lugano train station with the old town.
