MASH daal k Dahi Barey
yogurt 1 kg
cream 1 pack
milk 1 glass
salt 1/2 tsp
sugar 2,3 tbsp
garlic paste 1/2 tsp
mash daal soaked for atleast 3,4 hours
chat masala
imli sonth ki chatni
papri
soak daal in water and after 3,4 hours drain all water.
grind it in a very thick paste with garlic paste.
rest it for 1/2 hour.
preheat oil in a wok.
fry fritters in nice golden color.
now place a strainer in a bowl and put them in it to drain excess oil.
add 2 tbsp salt in water in a big bowl .
soak fried fritters for 1/2 hour.
squeeze them gently and place them in serving bowl.
now beat yogurt with milk and cream.mix salt and sugar in it.and keep it in the fridge .
when want to serve pour yogurt on soaked fritters and garnish with chat masala, papri and sonth imli ki chatni.
BESAN K DAHI BAREY
gram flour 2 cups
yogurt 3 tbsp
red chili pwd 1 tsp
red chili flakes 1 tsp
salt 1 tsp
cumin 1 tsp
turmeric 1/2 tsp
baking soda 1/4 tsp
onion 1 large grated
green chilies 2 tbsp finely chopped
coriander 1-1/2 tbsp full
mint 1-1/2 tbsp full
oil for deep frying
oil 2 tbsp for baghar
whole red chilies 4
cumin 1/2 tsp
curry leaves 10 to 12
yogurt 1/2 kg
salt 1/2 tsp or to taste
black or red pepper pwd 1/2 tsp
dry roasted cumin pwd 1/2 tsp
onion grated 2 to 3 tbsp
green chilies 1/2 tsp
coriander and mint 1 tbsp each
first prepare gram flour batter and leave it for 15 minutes
now add all ingredients in yogurt and whisk nicely
add water to make yogurt slightly thin.
then heat up oil in karahi and fry fritters
batter should be medium, not thick nor thin
add 1 tsp full batter in oil and fry nice golden and round fritters.
don`t put too much batter for fritters as it will break while squeezing
soak them in plain water for just 2 minutes
squeeze gently and add some prepared yogurt in serving dish
layer the fritters in the dish and pour remaining yogurt evenly.
take 2 tbsp oil and fry whole red chilies.
turn off the flame and then add cumin and curry leaves.
stir once and pour on the serving dish
sprinkle some chat masala and serve immediately.
super yummy and tasty besan dahi barey are ready to serve as a side dish or enjoy

MONG DAAL 1 cup or 200 gm
soaked 3 to 4 hours then grind to make a fine paste
baking soda 1 pinch ( optional )
water as required
salt 1/2 tsp

yogurt 325 gm or derh pao
salt 1/2 tsp or to taste
powdered sugar 2 tbsp or to taste
cream 1/2 pack or 100 ml
milk 1/2 to 1 cup
