I wrote a theme for Brave New World

Set in a futuristic London, Brave New World tells the story of a society of artificially-birthed, brainwashed, drug-infused humans, whose intelligence levels determines their rank and occupation in a caste system. Bernard Marx, an Alpha citizen and sleep-learning expert, slowly begins to see cracks in the system and questions the role of the drug "Soma", which is administered to all citizens to keep them peaceful and happy.

After being threatened with exile for his transgressive thoughts, Bernard asks Lenina Crowne on a date: a journey beyond the borders of the World State to visit a "Savage Reservation". Here, where natural birth, ageing, and religion are still commonplace, they meet John, a man who has grown up reading Shakespeare, developing a traditional worldview, and hearing stories of London from his mother. Spying a pathway back to social status popularity, Bernard arranges for John to accompany him back to London. But the "Brave New World" awaiting John is not what he expects, and piece by piece, drives him to despair.

This piece was written using synths and virtual instruments from ‪@spitfireaudiollp‬, ‪@Orchestral-Tools‬, ‪@EWQLTutorials‬, and ‪@BABYAudio-official‬. The guitars were performed and recorded by me.
