Today I made for fun a shakuhachi from a very cheap plastic recorder (I bought it for 3 euro)...
Is very hard to play, sound louder now that is converted to a shakuhachi...I just made it, so I am still not good at it, take some time to find the position, the utaguchi hole is very small :D
I am sorry that at the end the camera drop... -_-
Here is how to made, remove the end part of the flute (u don't need it), than cut the flute above where the air pass...(u can guess where is)...I cut it using a knife that I put in the fire before, so the plastic can be cut like butter :D
