Hello! 안녕하세요~!!
Today we will learn Demonstrative Pronouns.
In Korean, just like in English with "this" and "that,"
we use demonstrative pronouns to point to things,
people, or places based on their distance from the speaker and the listener.
The three main ones are 이/그/저 - 00:11
1. '이' this
🔹 Use ‘이’ to refer to something that is close to the speaker.
Think of it as the Korean equivalent of "this."
2. '그' that
🔹 Use ‘그’ to refer to something that is close to the listener.
It can also refer to something that has already been mentioned in the conversation.
Think of it as the Korean equivalent of "that."
3. '저' that (over there)
🔹 Use ‘저’ to refer to something that is far away from both the speaker and the listener.
Think of it as the Korean equivalent of "that (over there)."
