Idli meets idli in a new form inspired by the famous dish of the 1965’s. Idli 65 is best suited as a snack or starter and is a very strong vegetarian option for the same. Crispy outer and soft inside and spiced up with 3 types of peppers( black,red chilli and green chilli )
INGREDIENTS [2-3 PERSONS]
1.IDLI’S
2.MAIDA - 1/2 cup
3.RICE FLOUR - 1/2 cup
4.WATER AS REQUIRED
5.OIL
6.GARLIC - 2tsp
7.GINGER - 2tsp
8.GREEN CHILLI - 3 no’s
9.CURRY LEAVES
10.CURD - 1 cup
11.RED CHILLI POWDER - 10g
12.GARAM MASALA - 2tsp
13.PEPPER POWDER - 1tsp
14.SALT - TO TASTE
15.WATER AS REQUIRED
METHOD:-
1.First cut idli’s into pieces.
2.In a bowl add maida, rice flour, water and mix well with idli pieces.
3.Now heat oil and fry idli pieces till brown, then transfer into a plate.
4.Heat the kadai add 2 tsp oil and fry with ginger, garlic, red chilli, curry leaves, mix well with curd, red chilli powder, garam masala, pepper powder, salt, water and cook for some time.
5.Now mix with fried idli’s and cook, then transfer into a plate and serve it with spring onions and lemon.
