This year’s ski trip was to Verbier, Switzerland, voted one of the best ski resorts in the world. Verbier is the largest ski resort located entirely in Switzerland. It’s the gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area. Trails on Mont Fort Glacier have views of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc.

Verbier is situated in the canton of Valais in the southwest of Switzerland, bordered by France to the west and Italy to the south. It’s about a two-hour drive from Geneva airport.

It is known for its massive size, world class on and off-piste skiing and some of the best après-ski/nightlife in Europe. Oh, did I mention shopping?

Hawley MacLean of MacLean Adventures has been taking ski groups to all corners of the world for epic ski Adventures for over 30 years.

Your hosts, Hawley MacLean, and Olympic Gold Medalist, Jill Savery will accompany you on this Adventure.

Adventurers should plan to arrive in Lausanne, Switzerland on Friday, February 24, 2023. We will have our welcome and dinner and will stay at the 5-Star Lausanne Palace. On Saturday we will take a private coach to Hotel de Verbier, a 4-Star hotel located in the heart of the village with a luxury spa.

The next six days will be full of skiing, delicious lunches on the mountain and fun! High performance rental skis and poles, lift tickets and two days of guided skiing are included in the trip price.

The Swiss are know for great cheese, chocolate and wines! Your Adventure includes all breakfasts and dinners. We have scouted out some great places for dinner!

Here are just a few of the restaurants and clubs we will enjoy on this ski Adventure:

La Nonna, a fantastic Italian, family style restaurant located in our hotel.

Le Rouge Restaurant & Après-Ski is a multi-faceted establishment with class and style but without the stuffiness.

La Luge, is considered one of the hottest Après-Ski bars in Switzerland, or for that matter Europe. We have reserved tables for our Adventure group!

Our Adventure ends with a private coach back to the Lausanne Palace for our farewell dinner and comfortable rest.

This ski Adventure was a great for beginner intermediate to advanced/expert skiers.
