Step inside London’s newest museum space — the V&A East Storehouse — located at the Hackney end of the Olympic Park.
Opened in 2025, the Storehouse offers a rare look behind the scenes, where vast parts of the V&A collection are stored, studied, and cared for.
In this video, I take a calm first visit through the space, focusing on the atmosphere, scale, and experience rather than a guided tour.
I’m also here to see the David Bowie displays, which have just become ticketless — previously requiring free tickets that were selling out almost instantly.
You’ll see highlights from the Bowie collection, including the iconic Life on Mars? suit, material from the Earthling era, and handwritten notes that give a real sense of Bowie’s creative process.
After that, I head back outside as the rain clears — a quiet end to a calm visit.
