The 'Ontario's Forgotten River' series is a more detailed looked at the White River canoe trip that my friend Ben and I paddled in the summer of 2020. For a shorter summary of this trip, check out the documentary in the link below:

In this episode, the day is chock full of surprises and amazing experiences. The scenery and the river gets even more spectacular as we enter Pukaskwa National Park. We find ourselves blown away by all the falls, cataracts, and canyons that mark the lower section of the White River. There is no question why the White was considered one of the best rivers to canoe in Ontario. But it isn't all fun and games as we dodge wasps, can't find a portage by a falls, and worry about wind on Lake Superior as we make our way to the mouth. But not only do we make to the end, but get a great send off by battling a brute of a fish, giving us yet another fond memory of our journey on the White. This and so much more in this episode. This covers day 9.
