The Chosen Path Tornado Story

Описание: The original introduction I had written was too long - but this is what would've been written, if I had more room:
On June 1, 2011, an Ef3 tornado tore across western Massachusetts leaving little to spare in its trail. Monson, one of the hardest hit communities, became known for its strength and resilience following the destruction. What brought this town together was not the chainsaws, the essential items dropped off at The First Church, the tarps for roofs & bottles of water -- it was the people who donated the items, ran the chainsaws, cleared the roads.
And then in the days, weeks & months following -- it was the people who continued to haul wood, sift through rubble & organize volunteers, who made getting through this experience possible.
Friendships were formed and memories were made. On June 19th 2011, I sat down at my computer and began writing; and what I began was a book now called, "The Chosen Path." This is a story about survival, commitment, friendship & nature and how just thirty seconds can change one's life & an entire community...forever.
