3D-printing technology is helping transform China’s dental industry with more efficient, affordable, and personalized solutions.

Nanjing Chamlion Laser Technology in east China’s Nanjing city is an industry leader in 3D-printed dental prosthesis.

With AI-powered design software and digitally streamlined workflows, an order of 3D-printed teeth can be ready on the same day a patient’s mouth is scanned.
Wang Lin is the company’s chairman.

Besides the improved productivity, 3D printing also helps lower patients’ costs… sometimes up to 40 percent.

The key to their success, Wang says, is embracing new technology that allows for increased precision and efficiency.

According to a report released in April by the American Dental Association, only 17 percent of dentists in the US use 3D printing in their practices.
