Описание: On my first episode of 50 desserts from 50 states I show you how to make Whoopie Pies, one of my favorite desserts from Maine. I make a classic whoopie pie and one with peanut butter filling. They are actually pretty easy to make and taste great. 🍽Recipe:
►Chocolate Whoopie Pie
1/2 cup Crisco
1 1/2 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
Cream together

1/2 cup Cocoa
1/2 cup Hot (boiling) Water
Whip into creamed mixture

1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 3/4 cup Flour
1/2 cup Milk
Whip in till combined

Bake at 350⁰ for 15mins. Immediately remove from cookie sheet to a cooling rack. Let come to room temp. Assemble Woople Pie with filling of your choice.

▶︎Original Filling
1 1/2 cup Crisco
1 1/2 cup Powder Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
3 TBS Milk
Whip together

Add
1 1/2 cup Marshmallow Fluff
Whip till just combined

▶︎Peanut Butter Filling
3/4 cup Crisco
3/4 cup Peanut Butter
1 1/2 cup Powder Sugar
1tsp Vanilla
3 TBS Milk
Whip it up.
