Stir Fried Kailan with Garlic
(aka Chinese Broccoli) - Vegetarian

Ingredients :
250gm kailan
Fresh ginger, julienned
3 cloves of garlic, sliced
Sauce mix:
2 tbsp of vegetarian oyster flavoured sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp water
½ tsp sugar
White pepper powder
Oil & water for cooking
Sesame oil (Optional)
Tips : Separate the stems and slice them diagonally as shown in the video.
For the leaves, just cut them into half. Do
not overcook them, just cook until they’re
wilted.
Method :
1. Heat up some oil in a pan/skillet over medium low flame. Once the oil is hot, add in the garlic, ginger and stems. Sprinkle some water. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes. Then, add in the kailan leaves. Keep it covered, cook for another 2 minutes. Do not overcook!
2. Now, add in the sauce mix, combine well, another 1-2 minutes and turn off the flame. Done!
