Backpacking the Gritstone Trail over 3 days with our dog.
This was our first backpacking outing since lockdown, so our fitness was way under par. However it was a nice start for the year.
When we set off from home, at the last minute we decided to walk to the train station. This was a mistake as it added too many miles to the overall trip. So, as a last minute decision at Bowstones, we missed Lyme Park (best avoided on sunny Sundays anyway) and took a more direct route home, which was still another 8 miles walk.
Trip total - 46 Miles
