Hello everyone! :D
I never played Donkey Kong 64, but thanks to Banjo-Kazooie, I knew that Fungi Forest was a level in that game. And it also happened that I stumbled on some of its VGMs, including that song.
I don't know every songs from that game, but I'm ready to say it's one of the best. It's so calm, quaint and strangely gives me determination, especially with the last part. In the last few days, it grew on me so fast, and I really was in the mood for remaking it, so voilà!
Despite being a simple song, there's no way that I would remake it the simple way. There's always something that I can do that needs high tempo to remake it appropriately (volume control, substains, echoes, triplets, etc.). Still, that was a good 4 days of well-spent time on it during that "hard" time that is quarantine...
Remade in Giant Mario Paint with its default soundfont.
