The design aims to draw inspiration from the elements that form the identity of the city such as the Forts of Marathas, the Wadas, the Sahyadri peaks, Kaas plateau, stepped well, local stone etc to name a few. WAGHYA is an integral part of Satara culture and is a story of devotion and loyalty. The care and compassion Shivaji has for Waghya served as as an inspiration to design a veterinary centre. The idea of the design is based on modular grids which can be repeated as per site conditions.
