Описание: UNDERSTANDING HUMAN CONNECTING WITH DEATH.

Accepting death as a technical fact but reducing it to the state of an ordinary thing, as insignificant as it is necessary. Death is the end of the connection between our mind and our body. This thesis explores the experience of psychology state of mind of mourners and visitors during the death of a person through architectural and landscape design. Nowadays, the crematoriums are located far from the locality because it is considered taboo, and people do not feel comfortable seeing their surroundings. The main aim is to create such a sacred space where people would feel connected to this intangible aspect of life and death. These places are blank, desolate, and unattractive, so people do not feel the architecture of the space. These places have become merely a facility to carry out the last rituals. Earlier, people used to die on average dying age, but due to the advancement of medicines, they like to live more. People deny the fact of dying. They avoid maintaining these places. Usually, the crematorium ends up in an open landscape but has walls that would screen this to maintain some privacy. The project aims to express funerary architecture's communicative character, most precisely of funerary space, in an essential way to fade tragic scenarios such as death. At the same time, design an experience rather than a process line and create a journey for the mourning to offer a final farewell to the deceased. The design objective is to treat the built environment as a process of Hindu rituals and the connection between life and death while representing the nature of a crematorium. The intimate connection all humans have with death, rituals and their associated settings remain to some, a societal taboo. Crematoriums have the potential to be much more than neglected grounds to deal with inevitable details by connecting Indian religious and ritualistic devotion with architecture that identifies practical needs.
