LTC Andrew Brigg, D.O. graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center.
After his internship, he spent 5 years as a General Medical Officer flight surgeon, which included 2 deployments to Afghanistan. He then completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in 2017.
After completing residency, he became the chief of Emergency Medicine at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri from 2017 to 2020. During this time, he deployed to Syria and Afghanistan as part of the Army’s first Forward Resuscitative Surgical team. He left active duty in June 2020, and joined the reserves.
He currently is employed as an Emergency Medicine physician for Envision Healthcare based in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
