Join us in a webinar to review the progress that has been made on ending preventable stillbirth deaths, highlight strategies for faster progress and discuss ways to provide better care to women and families following stillbirths.
In January 2016, The Lancet launched a special series on stillbirths that built on the series published in 2011 to expose the neglected issue of 2.6 million yearly stillbirths worldwide. This echoes the call of the Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health and the Every Woman Every Child movement.
Now more than ever, it is critical to strengthen the movement. And stillbirth prevention and care must be part of existing and new reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health efforts to garner greater traction in ending preventable stillbirths.
