Lorton Landfill Fire Tanker Fill Site - Fairfax County & PWC Fire - ON SCENE

Описание: on June 6th, 2023, Fairfax County Fire & Rescue responded to reports of a fire at the Lorton landfill. upon arrival units found a large volume of fire and upgraded the box to a wildland incident. due to the fire being so isolated, a tanker task force was called in and the fillsite was at the entrance to the landfill. Prince William sent units to help out including tower 512 and tanker 516. all units seen in this video were at the fillsite or just beyond it. any unit that was leaving was going to fire station 419 to refuel with the exception of engine 405 which was setting up the lower fill site. Units were still adding and replacing other units roughly 24 hours later with units coming from as far away as Centreville.
