On February 28, Crandall ISD will celebrate its 125th anniversary. In the lead-up to this milestone, we’re sharing the stories of individuals who helped shape CISD into what it is today.
Margie Ruzicka grew up in East Dallas and hadn’t thought much about Crandall until moving here with her family in 1981. She spent 23 years as an educator in Crandall ISD, most of that time as a PE teacher. Margie’s three children all attended Crandall ISD, and one of her favorite things about still living in the area is eating at El Jacalito.
