This wander was on a cold day just after New Year so Morag and I decided to do this walk. It is a very easy walk and can be easily extended by returning through Wigtown and maybe stop into a café for a bight.
I try to speak about the history behind the Martyrs Stake but my research went down so many paths. What I found made me rather emotional and disgusted with some of the historic players and I say so. I am only human, man’s inhumanity to man.
