This 7th day of our trip around Iceland was dedicated completely for doing an actual hike at Pakgil. The trail leads to an impressive sight at a glacier, dropping over a steap cliff.
The space has many waterfalls coming from the glacier and every now and again ice drops over the cliff onto the slopes below. While being close to the golden circle, the trail is difficult to reach and does not attract the masses of tourists you will find at other attractions.
We highly recommend taking this break from the masses and to enjoy one of our favorite places in all of Iceland.
