Plot Summary
A deeply emotional family drama, Ghar Ek Mandir revolves around the close-knit bond of three brothers—Prem, Vijay, and Ravi—and how they consider their house a sacred temple of love. The family lives in unity under the values instilled by Prem and his wife, Laxmi. However, tragedy strikes when Prem is murdered in a plot orchestrated by the cunning businessman Seth Dharampal, who is out to snatch their home and property.
The younger brother Ravi rises to the occasion, taking on the villain and his evil plans to protect the sanctity of their home. The movie explores themes of sacrifice, family unity, and righteousness over greed, with melodramatic and emotional moments typical of 1980s Bollywood.
