Father Wounds & Wounded Fathers - a Reflection on Luke

Описание: Welcome to another Edition of our Tru Tangazo Podcast. In this Episode we bring you a Special Father’s Day Conversation in which our Team Leader hosts Mr. Ivan Otim (Team Leader at The Dad Base) and together they discuss “Healing for Father Wounds and Wounded Fathers.”
They reflect through some of Jesus’ provocative thoughts in Luke 15 (especially 11-32).🙌🏾

We acknowledge that Fathers grow up with wounds, and take them into their fatherhood journey, and end up wounding their children. And the cycle continues. To end it, believe there has to be intentionality in looking backwards at our fathers’ wounds that they suffered as sons, acknowledge the wounds they’ve caused (some because of their own scars), then prevent further wounds by fostering a healing environment.
