ON HONORING THE PROPHET - Why? or Why Not?

Описание: In this video, as part of our "Theological Lugezigezi" Segment, we discuss what it really means to honor prophets — from the Bible to today’s church. We look at how David and other kings honored prophets, and question whether modern “honor” has become mixed with materialism and traditional religious practices.

We explore:
1.⁠ ⁠What the Bible says a prophet is.
2.⁠ ⁠⁠Whether honor is transactional, and should come with blessings or gifts.
3.⁠ ⁠⁠How leaders today should point people back to God, rather than themselves to be honored.

We also reflect on Jesus’ example of servant leadership — though He was God, He humbled Himself to serve (Philippians 2:5–8).

True honor is not about titles or money, but about recognizing those who serve faithfully, including lay leaders and volunteers.
