0:00 Intro
For this image I wanted the water and the sea stacks to have some stronger, more interesting color tones. For this I decided to go with orange & teal since I personally think it fits the golden hour setting for this shot the most. Additionally, I added motion blur to the sky to make that part a little cleaner. I know long exposure sky and those waves aren’t possible in a single shot, but as long as it looks good to me, I don’t care about keeping it realistic.

0:16 1. Basic Raw Adjustments
I changed the camera profile to adobe Landscape for more saturation, then dropped the highlights, the shadows and raised the blacks as well as the contrast. For a sharp looking photo, I added texture and clarity.

1:25 2. Local Adjustments
Using a graduated filter, I made the top right part a little darker by dropping the exposure. Then, I used a radial filter over the waves crashing in the foreground. Here, I added some more texture to get more details in there.

2:03 3. Color Grading
For the orange teal look, I started with the hue in the HSL panel. First, I dropped the yellow and blue hue. Next, in the saturation tab, I boosted yellow, orange and slightly dropped the aqua tones. For the split toning I applied a warm color to the highlights as well as the mid-tones. Most important change to the colors was made in the calibration tab: Here I dropped the blue hue and boosted its saturation.

4:31 4. Photoshop
First, I wanted to add the motion blur for the sky. I created a quick sky selection and copied it in a new layer. With this sky layer I added a simply horizontal motion blur with a rather low amount. Finally, I used the Nik Collection plug in to add the final effects.
