Because their schedules and movements are beyond the employer’s direct supervision, they are typically excluded from certain labor benefits like overtime pay, night shift differential, and holiday premiums. However, they remain entitled to basic labor protections such as minimum wage. This classification recognizes the unique nature of mobile work while balancing fairness in labor rights and employer obligations.
