The Sheshnarayan Temple is an ancient Hindu temple complex located in Sheshnarayan Village Development Committee (VDC), near the ancient town of Pharping, approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu, Nepal. The temple, dedicated to Vishnu, is one of the four Narayana temples of the Kathmandu Valley, a World Heritage Site. The other three are Icchangu Narayan, Bishanku Narayan, and Changu Narayan. These temples, positioned in the four cardinal directions, are believed to have been built during the reign of the Licchavi king Vishnugupta to guard the Kathmandu Valley. The Sheshnarayan Temple, surrounded by ponds and statues and nestled beneath a rocky cliff wall and a Tibetan monastery, is a highly revered shrine that continues to attract pilgrims and visitors.
