Cheese Straws with Puff Pastry.

Описание: In the video today we are going to be making delicious crispy Cheese Straws and I will be showing you 4 different flavour combinations that you can make. You only need a few ingredients and these Puff Pastry cheese straws are easy to make and perfect to serve as an appetiser or alongside a delicious Tomato soup or even just have them as a snack.

Recipe


Puff Pastry
1/3 cup Strong Cheddar cheese
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese,
1 tbsp Basil (Green) Pesto sauce. ( Roasted Tomato pesto also works well)
(Ground Black Pepper, Oregano, Paprika , Cayenne garlic, Onion and Garlic Powder)
1tsp Cinnamon & 11/2 Tbsp sugar
1 Egg for Egg wash
Serve with some Homemade pizza Sauce or Carmel Sauce.

1. Prepare all of the ingredients. Keep your pastry in the fridge
2. Cut your pastry into equal squares and fill with your different fillings.
3. Gently roll out. Then cut into thin strips.
4. Twist and place onto a baking tray covered with some Baking paper making sure to spread them out. Then Place into your fridge to rest for 10-20 min while you heat your oven.
5. When you are ready to bake get your cheese straws out of the fridge and egg wash the straws. Finish with a light sprinkling of cheese over the top before placing in your oven.
6. 200c for 20 min . Once they are a golden colour , pull them out and flip over the cheese straws and let them cook for a further 5min.
7. Place them onto a cooling rack to completely cool before serving. Enjoy😀
