In this video, we repair a 2023 Audi Q5 equipped with the 2.0 TFSI (DPU) engine after a premature PCV valve failure — at only 15,000 km (≈9,300 miles). The owner noticed engine oil leaking from multiple connections, and after diagnosis we discovered the real cause:
a faulty PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve that was no longer regulating crankcase pressure.
Because of the failed valve, excess pressure built up inside the engine, forcing oil out through seals and joints. Some camshaft cover bolts also needed tightening. A clear symptom was noticeable at idle — when opening the oil filler cap, the engine changed RPM and sound due to the incorrect crankcase pressure.
We replaced the PCV valve, corrected bolt torque, and after the repair the engine runs smoothly, holds stable vacuum/pressure, and is now completely dry and leak-free.
If you own an Audi with a 2.0 TFSI engine, this issue is more common than you think — watch the video to see the full diagnosis and repair process.
