Progression Runs!!! What are Progression runs?
Progression runs are workouts where you start at an easy pace then you start getting faster towards the end of your workout. Some people like to do it in Kms / miles but I like to do mine in blocks for example my Progression today was 4KMS @ 5:00-5:15 per km, 3KMS @ 4:30-4:45, 2KMS @ 4:05-4:15 then finished strong with 1KM @ 3:56-4:06.
Progression runs get your body and your mind use to those last few kms or miles of your race when you feel like you have nothing left but you dig deep, you find that extra little something and you finish strong.
