We are in Fremont, California and we're eating at a restaurant called "Shalimar." Shalimar is an Indian/Pakistan spot serving authentic Indo-Pak cuisine. I first had the Shalimar restaurant chain in San Francisco many times with my father-in-law and family. This was always a treat to have Shalimar food, but I never got the chance to film the SF spot due to the COVID restrictions last year. Now that things have opened up in the area, we had the opportunity to film the Shalimar Fremont location. Unfortunately, I was not able to film some of the food being prepared, however, that did not stop me from filming the REAL Punjabi food I love. Greasy, oil, delicious is the theme here, and it was so delicious. Everything pairs great with the naan and paratha bread. Can't wait to go back again soon! I hope you enjoy the video.
