These are the highlights for Game 6 of the 2001 World Series. After a dramatic Game 5 New York Yankees victory, they now lead the series 3-2. The Yankees are now one win away from winning their 27th World Series title. The Arizona Diamondbacks, facing elimination, are trying to win Game 6 to force a Game 7. The Yankees have Andy Pettitte on the mound once again, who pitched okay in Game 2, however was the losing pitcher in that game. The Diamondbacks have Randy Johnson on the mound once again, who pitched really well in Game 2. The Diamondbacks hope that he can deliver yet another good pitching performance in order to force a Game 7.
