|| Patenga (Bengali: পতেঙ্গা) is a sea beach of the Bay of Bengal, located 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) south from the port city of Chattogram, Bangladesh. It is near to the mouth of the Karnaphuli River. Patenga is a popular and renowned tourist spot. The beach is very close to the Bangladesh Naval Academy of the Bangladesh Navy and Shah Amanat International Airport.

Most visitors come to Patenga Beach as it is known for having some of the most stunning sunsets and sunrises in Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh Naval Academy is situated at the mouth of the Karnaphuli River at Patenga, Chattogram, Bangladesh. Bathed by the river Karnaphuli on the east and sheltered on the south by the Bay of Bengal, BNA stands in a panoramic natural picturesque in an isolated landscape of the country. It is surrounded by heart-snatching lush green vegetation in Patenga sea-beach, 14 km south of the city centre of the hustling port city of Chittagong. Bangladesh Naval Academy is well connected by rail, road and air from Dhaka.
