Why Lancaster Bible College?

To borrow from Solomon, most colleges teach students how to live life “under the sun,” to experience “their best life.” God is not welcome in the classroom, and the Bible is a dusty relic. Reason is the great arbiter of truth, as it gives way to what Carl Trueman tags, “the rise and triumph of the modern self.”

LBC is different. We want students to see how our Creator’s grand redemptive story frames every subject. Business, education, counseling, communication and the arts all find their ultimate fulfillment in service to the Creator. Paul said it best – “to bring all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.”
