On the third week of December 2025; the National Weather Service issued multiple alerts & warnings for residents in the Western regions of Oregon & Washington due to an atmospheric river storm summoning high winds slamming down trees and power lines and heavy rain filling up rivers to flood stage on the coast and within the inland valleys.
