A series of huts in the glaciated Talkeetna Mountains of southcentral Alaska provide a popular multi-day experience for backcountry travelers in summer and winter. We took advantage of stable snowpack, nice weather, and a well-trodden trail to ski the Mint-Penny Royal-Bomber Hut-Snowbird variation in a long day.
