WMSCOG | 1743th Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover

Описание: On December 7th, 2025, members from the World Mission Society Church of God in Fresno, California came together to host a community blood drive in partnership with the Central California Blood Center. Members from neighboring churches in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Bakersfield also joined in unity to support the event. This event marked the 1,743rd Worldwide Blood Drive to Give Life Through the Love of the Passover.

Approximately 250 attendees gathered in Fresno to participate in the blood drive alongside medical staff and volunteers. The goal of the event was to help meet the urgent need for blood donations and support patients across California’s Central Valley. Through the generosity and cooperation of all participants, a total of 116 pints of blood were collected, helping to save up to 348 lives.

In addition to donating blood, members of the Church of God uplifted attendees through various performances, including singing, choir presentations, and group dance performances. These performances created a warm and encouraging atmosphere, helping donors feel appreciated and supported throughout the event.

Terry Sananikone, a territory representative from the Central California Blood Center, shared “Today you are making a huge impact, saving up to three lives per donation and providing blood to patients here in the Valley.” Her words highlighted the significance of each donation and the lasting impact it has on local hospitals and patients.

Blood drives play a critical role in supporting individuals facing emergencies, surgeries, cancer treatments, and chronic illnesses. Through this event, the Church of God demonstrated compassion, unity, and a commitment to saving lives by serving the Fresno community and surrounding areas.

The event left a positive impression on attendees and organizers alike, as many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to such a meaningful cause. By working together, the volunteers and donors helped spread hope and provide lifesaving support to those in need throughout the Central Valley.
