The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life, which God placed in the Garden of Eden, are a parable and a copy that God created to teach mankind about the Kingdom of Heaven.

Only God can open the way to the Tree of Life from the Garden of Eden which gives us eternal life. To give us eternal life, Jesus gave us the Passover of the New Covenant 2,000 years ago, and Christ Ahnsahnghong gave us the Passover of the New Covenant in this age. Therefore, Christ Ahnsahnghong is God.

Why Does the Church of God Believe Ahnsahnghong is God?
The true Christ surely appears according to the testimonies of the Bible and the prophets. Just as the saints of the early Church preached that Jesus is the Christ wherever they went, we must preach that Father Ahnsahnghong who has brought the Passover of the New Covenant in this age is the Christ who has come a second time.

John 6:54–57
“ ‘Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink . . . the one who feeds on me will live because of me.’ ”

Luke 22:14–15
“When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, ‘I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.’ ”
